Antique 22 carat gold wedding ring. This narrow width ladies wedding band is a D shape profile. The outside is domed, curved to the edges, with a flat interior. 22 carat gold is a rich, buttery shade and as is normal, it has a slightly redish tint to it's yellow colour. This is a simple, classic style which is plenty wide enough to wear alone or can be paired with another band or ring. Circa 1850s, British in origin.
Fully hallmarked for 22 carat gold, assayed in Birmingham, date letter for 1852.
Size: UK - L; US - 5 3/4; EU - 51.5. Sizing available for an additional fee.
Measures approx 3 mm wide by 1.2 mm deep.
