Victorian turquoise paste and seed pearl ring. This 1870s yellow gold band is crafted in 18 carat. The stylish domed ring has three graduated diamond shapes at the top, each set with two turquoise stones and two seed pearls in a compass design. Between the gemstones is a lovely deeply engraved textured and floral pattern. This 140 year old ring has been shaped into a gypsy style, with a lightly domed exterior which is wider at the top and tapers at the back of the shank. It's a low profile ring which would be easy to stack with other bands and rings, yet makes quite the statement on it's own. Circa 1870s, British in origin.
