Antique Victorian coiled snake ring. What a friendly snake this is! Crafted in 18 carat yellow gold he coils three times around the finger to form a wide band. His face is chubby and sweet with engraved eyes and a mouth. The wires forming this ring are half round in shape giving great depth to each coil. Fully hallmarked and dating to the late Victorian era, 1890s.

Full hallmarks for 18 carat gold, assayed in Birmingham, date letter Z for 1899.

Size: UK - T; US - 9 1/2; EU - 61. Resizing is not recommended due to construction but is possible.

Measures approx 8.4 mm wide at face, 6.8 mm wide at back centre and 2.9 mm deep at face.
