Antique Victorian gold and garnet bauble charm. This elongated oval gold charm is set with four cabochon cut garnets. Between the garnets is a rope design with a little gold finial to the top and bottom. Circa late Victorian, 1860s - 1870s, likely European in origin.

Not marked, tested as 18 carat gold.

Measures 2.42 cm / 0.95 inches including the bail, and is 10.9 mm by 13.1 mm square at the widest point.

Weighs 3.15 grams.
