Lovely early Victorian puffed heart locket pendant. Engraved on the front is a single Forget Me Not flower blossom. The stylised flower is in bloom and framed by leaves. To the back is a photo of a young child. Engraved around the edge is "W. & M. Oct - 26th 1859."

Victorians were very keen on meanings of flowers. Forget Me Nots symbolise true love. The photo is in fair condition displaying some discolouration. Cracking can be seen under magnification. We have removed the photo compartment but have not removed the photo from it's frame where it's crimped in tightly to keep it in place. Circa 1850s.

Not hallmarked, professionally tested and assessed as 15 carat gold.

Measures approx 2.26 cm / 0.89 inches tall by 1.66 cm / 0.65 inches wide.

Pendant weighs 2.15 grams including current photo inside.
