Unique vintage diamond engagement ring. A large centre old European cut diamond is set in a six claw setting. The centre diamond is an old European cut with the classic higher crown and open culet that makes them so charming. Eight spokes around this main diamond each hold a smaller single cut diamond. From the top this makes a floral shape. A unique open shoulders band, it looks like an infinity symbol from the top, has a textured matte finish to the top and a polished, shiny back.

The centre diamond in this ring dates to around the late 19th century to turn of the 20th century, approx 120 - 150 years old, and the mounting dates to around the mid 20th century. I love when people use family or handed down stones to make a ring that is uniquely theirs. This is a very cool, funky ring and I think it'd make a great engagement ring or I'd use it as dinner / cocktail ring paired with a wonderful vintage dress.

In very good condition. There's a small nick to the back centre of the band which is too deep to polish out. Because it's palm side it really cannot be seen.

Diamonds: 9 total. Centre diamond is 5.05 mm to 5.25 mm and calculated as 0.56 carats, I / J colour, VS2 clarity within the limits of the mounting. Eight side diamonds are single cuts measuring approx 1.85 mm to 2.05 mm each and total approx 0.22 carats together, G / H colour, VS clarity other than 1 which is SI2/I1 clarity.

Stamped 18k, professionally tested and assessed as 18 carat gold, which is white in colour.

Size: UK - N.5; US - 7; EU - 17,2. This ring can be sized between J / 5 / 15,6 and R.5 / 9 / 19. Sizing available for an additional fee.

Measures approx 10.45 mm wide by 10 mm high at diamond cluster, shoulders are 6.8 mm wide and back centre of band is 2.2 mm wide.
