A classic pair of transitional cut diamond stud earrings set in platinum. These vintage diamonds were removed from a piece of jewellery which was beyond repair and have been set into new platinum settings. Each diamond is an old European cut with the classic chunky facet pattern, open culet and small table. The settings are simple four claw baskets. These are great earrings, at .84 total weight they are a good size for daily wear and would a wonderful gift to yourself or a significant other. Diamonds are circa 1930s, and the settings are modern, brand new.

Diamonds: transitional, measure approx 4.5 mm to 4.6 mm average diameter, 0.84 carats total weight, I / J colour, VS2 / SI1 clarity.

Hallmarked on the post as platinum 950 and scroll backs are marked for platinum.

Measure 4.6 mm wide and rise 4 mm tall off the ear.
