A completely unique and wonderful bracelet! Crafted in sterling silver with 18 carat gold detail, this modern bracelet has such style. It's crafted in three sections. One side is wide, polished and plain. Of the same size is another section formed of five heavy D shaped wires which are riveted on each end. This allows them to move a bit. In the centre is a small panel set with a bright green cabochon cut chrysoprase. This gemstone is cushion in shape with a high top and is set in a gold bezel. Hinges between the sections give them a bit of movement when worn and allow this piece to be opened to get on and off. The clasp is hidden within the design, a long bar, the full width of the piece. It must be pressed down quite hard and pulled to release.
Manfredi is an American based jeweller, established in the late 1980s in Connecticut where it currently has two locations. This piece is thought to date to around 2000.

Stamped 925 and tested as sterling silver. There is also a maker's mark of MANFREDI on the exterior which is common for this jeweller. The bezel edge around the chrysoprase tested as 18 carat gold.
