Sterling Silver Vintage Bracelet with Turquoise Inset Flowers, Circa Mid 20th Century.Add to Wishlist
Vintage sterling silver and turquoise bracelet dating to the mid 20th century. This bracelet is formed of large rectangular shaped slightly curved panels which are connected to their neighbours by a hinge on each side. The centre of each panel is dipped in a circle shape with each circle containing a small five petalled flower. These flowers are a lovely colour, pale and perfect, and are reminiscent of Forget Me Nots. This is a chunky bracelet which is wide on the wrist. The more delicate turquoise flowers visible from within the shiny silver. Circa 1960s - 1970s, North American in origin.
This bracelet fastens with a pin which pushed down through the open loops of the hinge. This style allows the hinge to still be flexible. An attached safety chain keeps this piece secure. On one of the flowers, one of the petals has lost its turquoise piece. This isn't generally noticeable and is mentioned for accuracy.
