Diamond engagement ring dating to the Art Deco era. A centre old European cut diamond is mounted into a square shaped top with a trio of beaded claws at each corner. The diamond has a small table, and open culet. Sloping down the shoulders are old single cut diamonds in a stepped design. I love this design! To me, it's reminiscent of a waterfall. The shank is slender and plain in a squared profile to keep the lines. This is a low profile ring with the diamonds set close to the finger. Dotted around the edges of the accent diamonds is milgrain beading. Circa 1930s, British in origin.
Diamonds: centre old European cut of approx 3.9 mm, 0.20 carat, H / I colour, SI2 / I1 clarity as calculated within the limits of the mounting. 6 accent diamonds total approx 0.10 carats.
