Vintage engagement ring set with a square cut blue sapphire framed by a halo of diamonds. This ring is a beauty! A deep blue square shape, step cut sapphire is surrounded by eight pave set single cut diamonds. The top of the setting dips between each diamond giving the edges a scalloped look which is accented with a milgrain beaded edge. The tops of the shoulders are white and are engraved with a delicate feather pattern and lined in milgrain beading. A plain gold band completes this 1930s - 1940s ring.

Sapphire: deep blue, square shape, step cut, approx 4.15 mm.

Diamonds: 8, single cut, approx 0.12 carats as estimated within the limits of the mounting.

Stamped 18ct & Plat. The yellow metal professionally tested and assessed as 18 carat gold. The claws of the gemstones professionally tested and assessed as platinum.
