Very useful antique 9 carat gold safety pin. What would you use it for? With looped ends it can be used to extend a chain. I use my own to pin my kimono closed. A pin for a collar, tie, shawl, scarf, or simply a decorative brooch! The pin is formed from hefty 1.45 mm round wire and looped, sprung to the design. Circa early 20th century, British in origin.
Stamped 9c, professionally tested and assessed as 9 carat gold which is warm peach in colour.
Measures approx 31.8 mm / 1.25 inches long by 7.8 mm / 0.30 inches wide.
