Set of 4 antique Victorian and Edwardian sterling silver watch fob pendants. These are being sold as a lot.
1st: crown and ivy leaf shield shape fob in a two tone design. Sterling silver with a shield shape to the centre and ivy leaf winding around the outer edge with a crown on top. The centre cartouche is rose gold plated.
In very good condition with normal wear to the rose gold plated top.
The back is hallmarked for sterling silver, assayed in Birmingham. The hallmarked are rubbed and difficult to make out. There is a registration number, 230877, which was issued in 1894.
Measures approx 39.2 mm / 1.55 inches tall by 30.55 mm / 1.20 inches wide.
Weighs 8.5 grams.
2nd: laurel wreath rounded shape fob in sterling silver. The centre is a blank shield shape cartouche and outlined by a decorative laurel leaf design. The cartouche on the other side is more angular in shape.
In excellent condition.
Hallmarked for Chester 1915.
Measures approx 43.4 mm / 1.70 inches tall by 30.1 mm / 1.22 inches wide.
Weighs 9.4 grams.
3rd: scroll design leaf fob in sterling silver. The centre has a personal inscription "G.A.C. Edwards" in a shield shape cartouche. The back continues the personal inscription "Pollard Cup Runner Up 1913". The hand engraved leaves are deep and crisp and the design is the same on both sides.
In excellent condition.
Hallmarked for Birmingham 1912.

4th: marquise shape sterling silver fob with a rose gold shield shape cartouche in the centre. The elongated fob has a fluted design to the side with a crown on top. The other side has a similar but slightly different shape cartouche.
In good condition. The rose gold plating is worn.
Hallmarked for Birmingham 1898. There is also a registration number of 324157 which was issued in 1898.
