Sapphire and seed pearl dragonfly 9ct gold pendant. This glorious bug is set with an oval cut blue sapphire to the thorax and graduated seed pearls in the wings. It's abdomen is beautifully engraved in a ridged design. Dragonflies symbolism a transformation and new beginnings.

This piece came to us as a brooch. We've converted it, adding a bail made from the pin to make it a more wearable piece. Circa 1910s dragonfly, modern conversion and chain.

Sapphire: blue colour, oval cut, approx 3.8 mm by 3 mm.

Seed pearls: 22 total.

Not hallmarked, professionally tested as 9 carat gold.

Measures approx 2.5 cm / 1 inches tall not including bail by 2 cm / 0.80 inches as it hangs.

Pendant weighs 1.7 grams.
