Vintage sapphire and diamond three stone engagement ring. A dark blue oval cut sapphire is set to the centre flanked by small single diamonds. The three gemstones are set in an engraved frame designed to reflect light and make the stones appear larger. This is a wonderfully classic design which would pair nicely with a wedding band. Circa 1940s, British in origin.

Sapphire: oval cut, dark blue in colour, measuring approx 5 mm by 3.8 mm. Shows some wear to facet junctions, visible under magnification.

Diamonds: 2, single cut, approx 0.02 carats total.

Stamped 18ct & PLAT. Professionally tested and assessed as 18 carat yellow gold with the little bead claws in platinum.

Size: UK - N; US - 6.75; EU - 17,1. This ring can be sized between K.5 / 5.5 / 16,2 and R / 8.75 / 18,75. Sizing available for an additional fee.

Measures approx 7 mm by 13.9 mm on top by 4.8 mm deep, 1.9 mm band.
