Sapphire and diamond three stone ring dating to the mid 20th century. The centre deep blue oval cut sapphire is flanked by round brilliant cut diamonds. The graduated design is pretty, making an impact on the finger. Double claw prongs hold the sapphire to the top and bottom with claws between the stones being less pronounced. The gold shank is slender and the interior is hand engraved with a personal inscription, "21/6/63 Bill to Maureen". Circa 1960s, British in origin.

Sapphire: oval shape, blue colour, measuring approx 6.7 mm by 5.4 mm and calculated as 0.60 carats within the limits of the mounting.

Diamonds: 2, round brilliant cut, approx 3.7 mm each to total 0.38 carats, H - I colour, VS2 clarity as calculated within the limits of the mounting.

Stamped 18ct PLAT. Professionally tested and assessed as 18 carat yellow gold with platinum claws.

Size: UK - K; US - 5.25; EU - 15,8. This ring cannot be made any smaller, it can be sized up to T / 9.5 / 19.5. Sizing available for an additional fee.

Measures approx 7.45 mm wide by 4.8 mm deep, 1.5 mm band.
