Vintage sapphire and diamond engagement ring. This is the loveliest of rings! A step cut, square shape light blue sapphire steals the show with it's sleek and simple four tab claw setting. The sapphire is a bright, lighter blue shade which looks amazing on the finger. Flanking the sapphire are round brilliant cut diamonds which sparkle and shine, contrasting nicely against the blue of the sapphire. The slender gold shank is pinched by the gemstones, widening slightly to a D shape profile at the back. This is a wonderful engagement ring, a true beauty which would easily pair with a wedding band. Circa 1920s - 1930s, British in origin.
