Sapphire and diamond three stone engagement ring dating to the late Art Deco era. This stunning ring is set with a vivid royal blue round cut sapphire flanked by illusion set diamonds. All three gemstones are round and the graduated design is appealing. The collet holding the diamonds is diamond cut in a way to make the diamonds appear larger in size. From the side, the band of this ring curves up and pinches in to meet the gemstone set top. It's higher set which would allow a wedding band to sit nicely with this engagement ring. Circa late 1930s - 1940s, British in origin.

Sapphire: round cut, royal blue in colour. Approx 4.45 mm and calculated as 0.52 carats within the limits of the mounting.

Diamonds: 2, single cut, approx 2 mm each to total 0.06 carats together.

Stamped 18ct PLAT. Professionally tested and assessed as 18 carat yellow gold.

Size: UK - M; US - 6.25; EU - 16,75. This ring can be sized between K / 5.25 / 15,8 and Q / 8.25 / 18,3. Sizing available for an additional fee.
