Vintage sapphire and diamond triple row ring dating to the Art Deco era. What an incredible and unique ring! Sixteen blue square sapphires are channel set in narrow platinum edges. On either side of these sapphires is a row of sparkling single cut diamonds. The sides and the back half of the ring are hand engraved in a repeating swirl pattern.

This ring probably started it's life as a hinged day to night ring. At some point it was soldered together, the hinges on this style of ring often quickly deteriorated. We've cleaned it up, tidying up the previous work done. The gemstone top is low profile and wide, wonderful and easy to wear. Circa mid 1910s - 1930s.

Sapphires: 16, carre cut, approx 1.55 mm wide, vary a bit in length, approx 1.7 mm to 2 mm.

Diamonds: 26 total, 13 on each side, total approx 0.30 carats, G / H colour, SI clarity.

Not marked, professionally tested and assessed as platinum.

Size: UK - K.5; US - 5.5; EU - 16,2. This ring is not recommended for resizing.

Measures approx 6.2 mm wide by 1.7 mm deep. 2.1 mm band.

Weighs 4.9 grams.
