Sapphire and diamond five stone ring dating to the early 20th century. Bezel set gemstones are graduated in size and lined in milgrain beading. The blue of the sapphires contrasts with the white of the bezel edges and the diamonds. The slender, tapered band pinches as it reaches the gemstones and widens toward the back. This would be an easy ring to stack with other rings. Circa early 20th century, British in origin.

Sapphires: 3, blue round cut. Centre approx 2.7 mm, sides approx 2.1 mm each. Show some age related facet wear under magnification.

Diamonds: 2, old mine cut. Approx 2.6 mm, 0.065 carats each, 0.13 carats total, I / J colour, SI2 / I1 clarity as calculated within the limits of the mounting.

Stamped 18ct PT. Professionally tested and assessed as 18 carat yellow gold, with platinum topped bezel edges.
