Sapphire and diamond three stone engagement ring. This vintage ring is designed in the Art Deco style and is set with the loveliest colour of light blue sapphire. The oval cut sapphire is a stunning colour, light and bright from within it's mounting. Flanking the sapphire are round brilliant cut diamonds, set into matching metal surrounds which serve to both protect the stones and to make them appear larger. The tops around the gemstone is white with the band in yellow gold. This ring, while Art Deco in style, is higher set which makes it easier to pair with a wedding ring. Circa 1980s.

Sapphire: light blue, oval shape, approx 3.6 mm by 2.7 mm.

Diamonds: 2, round brilliant cut, approx 0.06 carats together.

Hallmarked for 9 carat gold, assayed in Birmingham, date letter for 1989.
