Pretty sapphire and diamond flower shaped engagement ring. A beautifully blue coloured round cut sapphire is set in a halo of diamonds. The flower has eight petal shaped which alternate between being set with a single eight cut diamond and being engraved into a faceted platinum bead shape. Milgrain beading winds its way around the platinum top between the diamonds and outlines the sapphire. The shoulders of this ring are platinum before leading to an 18 carat yellow gold band. Circa 1930s, British in origin.

Sapphire: medium blue, round cut, approx 3.15 mm, calculated in setting as 0.12 carats.

Diamonds: 4, approx 0.04 carats total.
