Russian Poseidon pendant dating to the mid 20th century. This charm is crafted in a lovely two-tone rose gold and white gold. Poseidon, holding his trident, is standing in front of a dolphin. The dolphin is encrusted with diamonds. This two-tone piece stands out with the god in rose gold and his dolphin in white gold. It's been carefully created so that despite it's small size it's quite clear what this pendant depicts. Circa 1950s.

In Ancient Greece Poseidon was the god of the sea, water and earthquakes. He protected the seafearers and is often shown with his trident and sea creatures. We've added him to a modern 9 carat rose gold chain so that he's ready to wear or gift.

Diamonds: 3 round brilliant cut, calculated in setting as 0.0.4 carats total.

Russian Kokoshnik hallmarks for 14 carat gold. Lvov assay office. The style of hallmark indicates this piece was hallmarked between 1927 and 1958. We believe this piece is toward the end of that period, circa 1950s.

Measures approx 1.8 cm / 0.71 inches tall not including the bail by 1.5 cm / 0.60 mm wide.

Charm weighs 1.4 grams + chain.
