Antique ruby and old cut diamond three stone ring dating to the Edwardian era. Striking engagement ring set with a brilliantly red ruby to the centre, flanked by old European cut diamonds. Each of the gemstones is bezel set in a platinum topped edge. The colour contrast between the ruby and diamonds is lovely and eye catching. The gemstones are slender gold band which pinches at the top, widening to a D shape profile shank at the back. Circa early 1900s, British in origin.

Ruby: round cut, approx 4 mm, calculated as 0.22 carats within the limits of the mounting. The ruby shows some age related wear as can seen in 20x magnified photos.

Diamonds: 2 old European cut, approx 0.18 carats together, G / H in colour, VS2 / SI1 in clarity as calculated within the limits of the mounting.

Stamped 18ct PLAT. Professionally tested and assessed as 18 carat yellow gold with the bezel edges in platinum.

Size: UK - L; US - 5.75; EU - 16,25. This ring can be sized between J / 4.75 / 15,5 and Q / 8.25 / 18,25. Sizing available for an additional fee.
