Oval cut ruby and diamond halo vintage ring. The colour of the ruby is stunning! It's a deep, proper red, securely held in multiple small claws and framed by a halo of 10 diamonds. The contrast between the deep red ruby and bright white diamonds is gorgeous. On the finger this is elegant, a ring wonderfully suited for engagement, anniversary or a significant birthday. An oval coloured gemstone framed by diamonds is a classic choice, flattering on the finger while providing excellent sparkle. Circa 1940s - 1950s.

Ruby: oval shape, a beautiful fiery red colour measuring approx 6 mm by 4 mm and calculated as 0.50 carats within the limits of the mounting. Ruby is mined, heat treated.

Diamonds: 10, round brilliant cut of approx 2.5 mm each to total 0.50 carats, F / G colour, VS2 / SI1 as calculated within the limits of the mounting.

Stamped 18ct & PLAT. Professionally tested and assessed as primarily 18 carat white gold with the claws in platinum.

Size: UK - O; US - 7.25; EU - 17,5. This ring can be sized between J / 4.75 / 15,5 and R / 8.75 / 18,7. Sizing available for an additional fee.

Measures approx 11.65 mm by 10.15 mm on top by 5.6 mm rise off finger, 1.95 mm band at back centre.
