Beautiful ruby and diamond ring dating to the early 20th century. The elongated cushion cut ruby is a deep, rich red in colour. The ruby is framed by single cut and rose cut diamonds with additional diamonds down the shoulders. It's a striking design with milgrain beading around the ruby, between the diamonds, and lining the shoulders. The gemstones are set in a white top on a slender gold band. Circa 1900 - 1920.

Ruby: cushion cut, rich red in colour, measuring approx 4.8 mm by 3.6 mm, calculated in setting as approx 0.40 carats.

Diamonds: 14, mixed cuts. The four corners are single cuts of approx 1.6 mm. The six diamonds between the corners are rose cuts of approx 1.5 mm. The four diamonds on the shoulders are single cuts of approx 0.70 mm.

Stamped 18ct&PT. Professionally tested and assessed as 18 carat yellow gold with the gemstones in a platinum edge.

Size: UK - P; US - 7.75; EU - 18. This ring can be sized down to L / 5.75 / 16,25. Sizing available for an additional fee.

Measures approx 9.6 mm by 7.8 mm on top by 3.75 mm deep. 1.4 mm band.
