This is a gorgeous diamond engagement ring! A round brilliant cut diamond is set in four prongs with 14, 7 on each side, round diamonds set down the shoulders. The centre diamond weighs just under half a carat and is set in a fairly open setting allowing a lot of light in. This fireball is so much fun to play with in the sunlight! From the side the entire diamond, down the pointed culet, can be seen. In it's current size the side stones span the entire way between the fingers so all you see is diamond!

This ring is hallmarked for Sheffield assay office with the European convention marks for 18 carat gold. We cannot make out a date letter. This style came into fashion in the early 1990s which is when we believe this ring to be from.

Diamonds: centre round brilliant cut, measures approx 4.85 mm and calculated in setting as 0.45 carats, I / J colour, SI1 clarity. 14 side diamonds, 7 on each side, estimated in setting as 0.20 carats together and of similar colour and clarity.
Total carat weight: about 0.65.

Hallmarked and tested as 18 carat gold.

Size: UK - L 1/2; US - 6; EU - 16 1/2. Because the side diamonds are channel set this ring can only be slightly sized. We'd recommend it be sized no more than 1 UK / 0.5 US size smaller and 2 UK / 1 US size larger.

Measures 5 mm wide and sits 5.9 mm tall.
Weighs 3.2 grams.
