Antique rose cut diamond drop pendant. This diamond necklace is simply stunning! A stylish tapered drop holds four bezel set rose cut diamonds. The largest measures approx 5.7 mm and is lined in milgrain set above a shiny sloped outside frame. Right above that diamond is a smaller diamond with a tapered teardrop shape bar connecting it to the two top diamonds. This pendant is articulated at either end of the bar. It's an antique piece, dating to the early 20th century, Edwardian era. The chain has been replaced at some point and is adjustable.

Diamonds: 4, all rose cuts. Largest at the bottom is approx 5.7 mm. Second largest at the top is approx 2.5 mm. The smallest two are approx 1.5 mm each. The diamonds appear white in colour, H - J in colour, with with some inclusions giving them an I1 clarity. Rose cut diamonds are very difficult to calculate while set.
Because these are close backed mountings we've given only their size, not their calculated weight.

Not hallmarked. The chain, which has been replaced, is professionally tested and assessed as 18 carat white gold. The drop tested as 15 carat gold with the very edges of the bezels topped in platinum.

Measures approx 2.6 cm / 1 inch drop. Wearable length is 16 inches and 17 inches due to an adjustable chain.
