Vintage bride and groom charm dating to the 1950s. This 9 carat yellow gold church or castle is hinged on the back side and opens to reveal a sweet scene of a bride and groom saying their wedding vows. The building is texture to look like little bricks with window cut-outs through which a peak of the couple can be glimpsed. Circa 1950s, British in origin.

Hallmarked for 9 carat gold, assayed in London, date letter for 1955.

Measures approx 1.33 cm / 0.53 inches tall including bail by 1.26 cm / 0.50 inches wide.

Charm weighs 2.95 grams.
