RESERVED, layaway for A.

Victorian fancy link chain crafted in sterling silver. Lovely sections of fancy links are set within a curb link chain. The fancy sections feature engraved spheres flanked by tapered cones which are adored with rows of milgrain beading. This chain would have probably originally been an Albert or watch chain. In the centre of the length is a a drop with a t-bar and a dangly tassel. The top of the tassel matches the spheres of the chain. These sections aren't spaced evenly, this chain has likely been rearranged to fit as a necklace, but they look super on!, a flattering and chic look. Circa late Victorian, 1890s, British in origin.

Hallmarked for sterling silver on the t-bar and dog clip, Birmingham assay office, 1897 date letter. Additional lion passant for sterling on each of the curb links.

Measures approx 40 cm / 15.75 inches in wearable length with 5.7 cm / 2.25 inch drop that the tassel is on. 8.8mm at widest point on the chain, the round baubles, and 4.6 mm at the curb chain.

Weighs 23.8 grams.
