Vintage tourmaline and diamond three stone engagement ring. A lovely bluish green tourmaline is set between two diamonds. The colour of the gemstone reminds me of the colour of the sea, it's a wonderful bright teal which stands out in the white mounting. The diamonds on either side are illusion set with the a star design cut into the mounting allowing it to sparkle. A narrow shank tapers and curves up to reach the gemstones. Circa 1930s - 1940s, British in origin.

Tourmaline: bluish green in colour, round cut, approx 6 mm, calculated as 1 carat within the limits of the mounting. Minor facet wear which can be seen under magnification.

Diamonds: 2, single cut, approx 1.6 mm each, 0.03 carats together.

Partial stamps of LAT. Professionally tested and assessed as 18 carat yellow gold with the claws in platinum.

Size: UK - K; US - 5.25 loose; EU - 15,9. This ring can be sized between I.5 / 4.5 tight / 15,2 and R / 8.75 / 18,7. Sizing available for an additional fee.

Measures approx 6.7 mm wide by 5.4 mm deep at tourmaline, 2.25 mm at back centre.
