Sapphire and diamond engagement ring dating to the early 20th century. This ring is designed as a triple floral cluster set with a sapphire in the centre and framed by diamonds. The centre flower is a bit larger than the flanking flowers creating a graduated design across the top of the finger. The gemstones are held with tiny claws giving a look of uninterrupted sparkle on the finger! Milgrain beading adorns the top edges of the flowers and the milgrain is in excellent condition. A slender gold band tapers up to the gemstone set top and widens slightly to form a D shape profile in back. Circa 1910s - 1920s.
