Art Deco diamond engagement ring and wedding band set. The centre diamond is housed in a square and held with triple claw prongs. Steps taper down the shank, the top two steps set with two diamonds each and the bottom set with a single diamond. Engraved ridges on the top of the shank peeks out from between the fingers when this ring is worn. The coordinating wedding band is set with nine diamonds, each in their own square, stepping down around the finger. At the end of the line of diamonds is an engraved triangle which points to an ornate floral engraved pattern. This is a classic late Art Deco engagement ring and it's combination of old world charm and sleek modern lines is gorgeous. Circa 1930s.

Diamonds: 20 total. 1 early round brilliant centre with 19 single cut accent diamonds. Centre is approx 3.85 mm and calculated in setting as 0.20 carats, H / I colour, VS clarity. 10 accent diamonds on the engagement ring total approx 0.10 carats. 9 diamonds in wedding band total approx total approx 0.16 carats together for a total of 0.46 carats in this wedding set.

Wedding ring stamped PLATINUM. Professionally tested and assessed as platinum. It is also engraved with a personal inscription, "WHW to EMR 7-23-32".

Size: UK - N; US - 6.75; EU - 17,1. The wedding ring has previously been resized and re-engraved. The jeweller did a very good job! The engagement ring can be sized down to K / 5.25 / 16. We'd recommend against resizing the wedding ring.
