Gorgeous old European cut diamond engagement ring dating to the early 20th century. This ring features a bezel set diamond to the centre. There is space between the centre diamond and the diamond halo that creates a scalloped shape. The eight surrounding diamonds are smaller old European and old single cut diamonds and are bead set in little circles and petal shapes to create the most beautiful scalloped edge. Milgrain beading lines all of the diamonds creating that bit of extra sparkle. The band is narrow and gold tapering in and pinching at the diamond set top. Late Victorian to early 20th century.
Diamonds: centre old European cut of approx 3 mm, 0.11 carats. 8 smaller diamonds of approx 2.2 mm each total 0.22 carats together. Total of 0.32 carats, H - K colour, SI1- I1 clarity as calculated within the limits of the mounting.
Stamped 18ct. Professionally tested and assessed as 18 carat yellow gold with the diamonds set into a platinum top.
Size: UK - N; US - 6.75; EU - 17,1. This ring can be sized between M / 6.25 / 16,7 and Q / 8.25 / 18,25. Resizing available for an additional fee.
Measures approx 12.5 mm wide on top by 3.7 mm deep. 1.6 mm band.
