Small 18ct gold envelope pendant dating to the early 20th century. This tiny piece is shaped as a envelope and is hinged at the top, allowing it to open. Inside is a plain gold piece, which has never been engraved. It snaps shut with a little garnet cabochon bezel set into the centre edge of the top flap. This is an adorable piece. Circa early 20th century.

We don't normally find these in 18 carat or with a little garnet cabochon. It's a wonderful find!

Stamped 18ct, professionally tested and assessed as 18 carat gold throughout.

Measures approx 17.7 mm / 0.70 inches long by 11.7 mm / 0.46 inches tall by 2.7 mm / 0.1 inches deep. The jump ring is at a corner so this piece wears at an angle, making it approx 21 mm / 0.83 inches as worn.

Weighs 1.6 grams.
