Antique curb link chain necklace dating to the early 20th century. This chain is formed of elongated curb links which are graduated in size from 6 mm to 7.9 mm wide. The links wave with the narrowest at the ends, widening again before they narrow to the middle, widening again, and then narrowest at the other end. At each end is a dog clip which is good and tight and ready to clasp this together to form a necklace or worn slightly dangled to hold a pendant. This is a pretty style link which would look worn as a choker or doubled as a bracelet. Circa 1890s - 1910s, British in origin.

Hallmarked for 9 carat gold on each link. Professionally tested and assessed as 9 carat gold throughout. The gold is rosy in colour.

Measures 40.5 cm / 16 inches end to end. Elongated curb links are 6 mm wide to 7.9 mm wide.

Weighs 31.45 grams.
