Vintage garnet and diamond engagement ring. This cluster ring is designed in a floral style with a large central oval cut garnet. The red garnet is framed by single cut diamonds alternating with engraved faceted beads. The same engraved faceted beads slope down the shoulders. Milgrain beading lines the edges around the gemstones and shoulders. This ring is topped in platinum on a slender yellow gold band. Circa 1940s, British in origin.

Garnet: oval cut, approx 5.6 mm by 4.3 mm, calculated as approx 0.40 carats within the limits of the mounting.

Diamonds: 4, single cut, approx 0.04 carats.

Stamped 18ct & PLAT. Professionally tested and assessed as 18 carat yellow gold with the gemstones set into a platinum top. Maker's mark for Bravingtons.

Size: UK - L.5; US - 6; EU - 16,5. This ring can be sized between I / 4.5 / 15,2 and O.5 / 7.5 / 17, 7. Sizing available for an additional fee.

Measures approx 10.95 mm by 9.8 mm on top by 4.7 mm deep. 1.65 mm band.
