Vintage emerald and diamond engagement ring. This three stone is classic in design. A bright green square cut emerald is flanked by round brilliant cut diamonds. The contrast between the gemstones is lovely, really drawing the eye into the emerald. The three stones are slightly graduated in size. This ring would make an excellent engagement ring. The higher set gemstones and flatter sides would allow a low profile band to sit nicely against this ring. A swooping gold band is narrow at the top and widens at the back. Circa 1940s, British in origin.

Emerald: square shape, step cut. Measures approx 4.5 mm by 4.4 mm and calculated as 0.40 carats within the limits of the mounting.

Diamonds: 2, round brilliant cut, each measuring approx 2.65 mm and calculated as 0.32 carats together, G colour, VS2 / SI1 clarity within the limits of the mounting.

Faintly stamped. Professionally tested and assessed as 18 carat yellow gold with white gold claws.

Size: UK - O; US - 7.25; EU - 55. This ring can be sized between K.5 / 5.5 / 50,8 and R / 8.75 / 58,8. Sizing available for an additional fee.
