Emerald and diamond engagement ring dating to the Art Deco era. A centre lovely, deep and vivid green, is a step cut which is bezel set and lined in milgrain beading. In contrast to the straight sided emerald, the diamonds are set in a scalloped edge giving this ring a floral feel. To each side are three diamonds in a row with a single diamond to the top and bottom. The shoulders are set with an additional diamond. The entire top is lined in milgrain beading and the white section extends down the shoulders giving this ring an all white look when it's viewed face on. A slender knife edge gold band completes the look. Circa 1920s, British in origin.

Emerald: deep green mossy colour, square step cut. Approx 3.3 mm by 3 mm.

Diamonds: 10, single cut of approx 1.5 mm each to total 0.15 carats in the near colourless range and eye clean.

Stamped 18ct PLAT. Professionally tested and assessed as 18 carat yellow gold with the gemstones set into a platinum top.
