Antique 9ct gold cuff links engraved with a foliate design. These double faced cuff links are oblong in shape and feature highly detailed ivy leaf engraving. Ivy leaves as commonly used to symbolise attachment, "I cling to thee". It's a beautifully sweet symbol and I can imagine a woman giving them to her betrothed. Both faces are engraved with the same with a narrow, shiny bevelled edge along the edge. Circa early 20th century.

A nice pair of cuff links are simply a must have, even for the modern man. They provide a bit of pizazz to everyday suits and dress up a wedding or night out with a bit of shine. These date to the late 19th century, circa 1890s. British in origin.

Hallmarked for 9 carat gold, assayed in Birmingham, date letter for 1910. The gold has a rosy tone to it.

Faces measure approx 19.15 mm by 11.1 mm.

Weigh 7 grams.
