Antique enamel pansy pendant. This early 20th century pendant is enamelled in deep purple, lighter purple, white, yellow and orange to make a perfectly detailed pansy flower. In Victorian times pansies were used to symbolise secret love or courting. At the top of this large pendant is a loop with the bail attached to that loop. This pansy is brightly coloured and set in silver gilt with a plain back. It's ready to add to a chain and wear! Circa early 20th century.

Not stamped, professionally tested and assessed as silver with a gilt finish.

Measures approx 28 mm / 1.1 inches tall not including bail by 21 mm / 0.83 inches wide.

Weighs 3.8 grams.
