Beautiful engraved 9ct rose gold wedding band dating to the Art Deco era. This wide ring, suitable for either a man or women, is designed as eight panels. Each of these panels is engraved in a different design, all floral in style. A beaded edge and polished strip of gold separates each panel making them distinct and clearly visible. This is a wide, low profile band, made in the cigar band style which was popular in the 19th to early 20th centuries. It's a kind of earlier pipe cut with flat sides, interior and top, which sits low to the finger. Circa 1920s, British in origin.

Hallmarked for 9 carat gold, assayed in Birmingham, date letter for 1924.
