Vintage baguette and round cut diamond ring set in platinum. What a wonderful ring this is! A pair of round cut diamonds are prong / claw set next to a single baguette cut diamond. The pattern repeats, dot dot dash, dot dot dash, encircling the finger. The two round cut diamonds together are approx the same width as the single baguette cut diamond making a lovely, balanced looking design. This style of ring was popular in the mid 20th century, after WWII, following the more common use of codes during the war. Circa mid 1940s - 1950s.

Diamonds: 24 total. 16 round cut diamonds of approx 2 mm each to total 0.48 carats, G / H colour, VS2 / SI1 clarity. 8 baguette cut diamonds of approx 3.5 mm by 1.7 mm each to total 0.48 carats, H - J colour, VS1 / VS2 clarity. Total of 0.96 carats as calculated within the limits of the mounting.

Not marked, professionally tested and assessed as platinum.

Size: UK - L; US - 5.75; EU - 16,25. This ring is not suitable for resizing other than by the addition of sizing beads to slightly decrease the size, further resizing would disrupt the design.

Measures approx 2.6 mm wide by 2.1 mm deep.
