Vintage platinum ladies wedding ring with milgrain beading. This is a simple and classic wedding band with a little twist. Milgrain beading lines the top and bottom edges of this D shape profile ring. The milgrain provides that bit of extra detail and simply makes this ring. It's narrow enough to wear alone and can easily be paired with another band or ring to make a wedding set. Dates to the mid 20th century.

The inside of this ring is stamped for two makers, ArtCarved, and Lambert Brothers. ArtCarved can trace it's history back to the 1850s when the company was J.R. Wood & Sons, later using the name ArtCarved. The ArtCarved brand is still in existence and remains a popular American jeweller due to their skill and designs. Lambert Brothers was a New York based jeweller from the late 19th century into the 1970s. We're not sure why this ring is marked for both makers, but love that little bit of mystery!
