Beautiful pearl and diamond engagement ring set in white gold. A large white cultured pearl is set in the centre of a fluted design setting. Set into the setting are six diamonds, three on each side. The diamonds are set into the points and curves of the fluted design with an engraved beaded design graduating down to the shank. Each section of the setting is outlined in milgrain beads. A small raised ridge design separates the decorated top from the plain D section shank. Circa 1920s - 1940s, likely Continental European in origin.
Pearl: cultured, white in colour, approx 7.75 mm wide, good lustre with some scratches to the nacre at the base of the pearl near the finger.
Diamonds: 6, eight cut, approx 0.03 carats total weight.
Marked 585 for 14 carat gold (585 parts of 1000 parts gold) on the inside and tested as such.
Size: UK - O; US - 7 1/4; EU - 17 1/2. This ring can be sized down to L.5 / 6 and up to Q.5 / 8.5. Sizing available for an additional fee.
Measures 7.75 mm wide and rises approx 8.5 mm tall off the finger.
