Wonderful antique diamond bangle bracelet! This piece holds 23 old mine cut diamonds. The diamonds are a truly fantastic shape, all antique cuts with a slight cushion shape. They graduate in size, larger at the top and tapering to smaller. The diamonds pre-date the bangle and they've been pave set to show them off perfectly! They're set halfway around the wrist so that they sparkle no matter how you're holding your wrist while the smooth and sleek bottom section means no catching on clothes. The diamonds date to the late 19th century and are little chunky monkeys with higher crowns and open culets. The mounting is more modern, circa mid to late 20th century.

This piece secures with the groove in the front section snapping over the bar on the back section. A safety figure 8 style clasp on each side secures the piece with audible clicks.

Diamonds: 23, old mine cut. Smallest is approx 1.8 mm and largest is approx 3.6 mm, 2 carats total, J / K colour, S11 - I1 clarity as calculated within the limits of the mounting.

Not hallmarked, professionally tested and assessed as 14 carat gold.

Measures 16 cm / 6.3 inches internal circumference. Shown on a 16 cm wrist. It fits me snugly, allowing movement only a bit with the diamonds staying on top of the wrist. This has been made for a smaller wrist size and I think 16 cm is the largest that could comfortably wear this.
Measures approx 4.9 mm wide at top tapering to 3.9 mm at back centre.

Weighs 18.6 grams. This is a heavy piece with a nice, solid weight.
