Classic diamond solitaire pendant. This old mine cut diamond is antique and is set low in a six claw setting. The diamond is slightly cushion in shape with an incredibly small table and very large open culet. It's a lovely, deep, original 19th century diamond which is very sparkly and looks lovely as a pendant. Circa 1860s - 1880s diamond and collet, we've added a bail to make it a wearable piece.

Diamond: old mine cut with a large open culet, approx 4.3 mm tall by 3.85 mm wide and calculated within the limits of the mounting as 0.28 carats, I / J colour, SI1 clarity.

Not stamped, professionally tested and assessed a 18 carat gold, with platinum claws.

Measures approx 9 mm tall including bail by 4.3 mm across.

Weighs 0.3 grams.
