A beautiful pair of bezel set old European cut diamond earrings. These are simple, low set, rub over diamond stud earrings - very practical and easy to wear. Each old European cut diamond is set into an 18 carat rose gold bezel setting with the top edge in platinum and lined in milgrain beading. The diamonds date to around the early 1900s and the scroll backs are modern replacement.

Diamonds: old European cut, approx 3.1 mm each and estimated in setting as 0.25 carats total weight, I / J colour, SI clarity.

Not hallmarked, tested as 18 carat rose gold with the edges of the bezels in platinum. The backs are marked for 18 carat gold.

Measure approx 3.6 mm wide and sit approx 3.75 mm tall off the earring.

Weigh 1.05 grams.
