Old European diamond pendant set in 18 carat white gold. This lovely bezel set diamond is just under half a carat, a good size, and is set in a nice sturdy rub over mounting. The diamond is bright with classic old European cut faceting including an open culet. The antique diamond dates to the early 20th century and has been added to the setting at some point during it's life. We've added a bail and strung it on a modern 9 carat white gold chain to make it a modern and wearable piece of jewellery.

Diamond: old European cut, approx 4.95 - 5.3 mm, 0.48 carats, H / I colour, I1 clarity as calculated within the limits of the mounting. The diamond is white in colour with some inclusions visible without a loupe at a close range. When worn on the chest as a pendant this piece is eye clean at a normal viewing distance.

Not stamped, professionally tested and assessed as 18 carat white gold.

Measures approx 11.7 mm tall including the ball by 6.1 mm wide.
