Vintage diamond engagement ring in two-tone gold setting. This mid 20th century ring is designed as a three stone ring with a centre old European cut diamond. On either side is a smaller prong set eight cut diamond. The diamonds are set into a 14 carat white gold top with a little faceted baguette design on the ends. The band is 18 carat yellow gold. This ring has the markings for Birks. Birks is a Canadian jewellery company which was established in the late 1870s and was a dominant jeweller through the mid 20th century. The company is still in business today. This ring is circa 1940s, Canadian in origin.

Diamonds: 3 total. Old European cut diamond is approx 3.4 mm and calculated as 0.17 carats, I colour, VS clarity. 2 accent eight cut diamonds are approx 0.04 carats together.

Marked 18K 14K Birks. This ring is mostly 18 carat yellow gold with the diamonds set into a 14 carat white gold top.
